Jake Studer is an attorney in Toledo, Ohio, where he specializes in CCW/firearms law, real estate law, and family law. He is experienced in all manner of criminal representation and defense, including family law, custody issues, contract litigation and constitutional law. Between his private practice and Lucas County public defender work, he has handled almost all major felonies, averaging up to 25 felony criminal cases and 200–400 misdemeanor criminal cases per year.
Mr. Studer earned his J.D. in 2013 from the University of Toledo College of Law and his Bachelor of Science in 2010 from John Carroll University, and he is a proud graduate of St. John’s Jesuit High School. He is admitted to the bar of the State of Ohio and is certified to practice throughout the state as well as within the local U.S. federal circuit, the Northern District of Ohio.
Mark Antiporda is an attorney in Perrysburg, Ohio, where he joined Mr. Studer as an associate attorney in 2023. He previously worked as a freelance editor and artist, specializing in fantasy and historical fiction novels, providing comprehensive services, and has helped multiple first-time authors into the industry.
Mr. Antiporda earned his J.D. in 2018 from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, his Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University in 2015, and his high school diploma from St. John’s Jesuit High School in 2011. He is admitted to the bar in the State of Ohio and is a court-qualified mediator.
Firearms Lawyer
Mr. Studer has been an active firearms advocate for most of his life, representing individuals in several hundred weapons cases. He has written gun trusts and advised on acquiring everything from shoulder-fired rockets to tanks. He is a Federal Firearms License (FFL) consultant, and he has worked extensively in matters involving the Second Amendment, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the National Firearms Act (NFA).
Real Estate Lawyer
As an attorney with an active realtor license, Mr. Studer has guided many individuals through the purchase process. He has practiced in matters from commercial leases and commercial purchases to litigation involving both residential and commercial transactions — everything from contract fraud to damaged houses and dishonest previous owners.
Along with his parents Joy and Jeff Studer, he has run a family business within the brokerage of Danberry Realtors for over five years, averaging more than forty real estate transactions per year. They are the only real estate agency in the area with an active attorney as part of the agency.
